Alexis Sanchez has given a fresh update on his Arsenal future amid speculation Manchester City are hoping to sign him this summer.
The Chilean’s future has been the subject of huge interest all season but the rumours have intensified since the end of the campaign.
Recent reports have claimed Sanchez is close to a move to City who have already spent big this summer bringing in Bernado Silva and Ederson.
Sanchez now says he will leave all talks to his agent as he concentrates on Confederations Cup duty with Chile.
“That is what my representative is looking at [renewing his contract]. I am now focused on the Cup,” he said via The Metro.
“The truth is that my agent will see to it. He knows and he will sit down with the club to see what is best for me.

“I would like many things, but right now I only think about the national team.”
Chile play a friendly on Friday and there have been reports Sanchez could be dropped but, as ever, he is desperate to play.
“I hope to play a few minutes tomorrow, I hope the coach allows me to do it. I always want to play, but there is the coach and the teammates to think of,” he added.
“We came from winning the Centenario Cup and now we want to win the Confederations Cup, we have the capacity to do so.”
Recent speculation over Sanchez’s future has been worrying with claims Bayern have dropped out and that he wants to move to City.
