Alexis Sanchez has been a superb signing, and has been lighting up the Premier League since his arrival from Barcelona this past summer. He has been talking about the abilities of his teammates recently however, and highlighted the quality of Santi Cazorla in particular.
The Chilean insists that he wasn’t aware of the quality on display at Arsenal until he made the switch, and claims he has been blown away since trading the Nou Camp for the Emirates.
He believes our Spanish maestro Cazorla is a “spectacular player”, and claims he is proud to play alongside his new teammates and to be a Gunner.
“When I arrived at the club I didn’t know the players that well, but I was really surprised by everyone’s quality,” he told Arsenal Player.
“I am not saying this just because it’s my obligation to do it as a club player. Every Arsenal footballer has amazing quality. Being part of a team like this makes me very proud. I am willing to win many titles here.

“Santi Cazorla is a spectacular player. You never know whether he will kick the ball with his right or left foot. Also, he moves with short but quick strides, which is a remarkable trademark too.
“Although I knew about his quality, playing alongside him makes me very happy.”
The 26-year-old really hit the ground running when he arrived from La Liga, and was a shining light in an underperforming Arsenal side at the start of the campaign.
He tailed off slightly after Christmas (no doubt due to the heavy fixture list and lack of a winter break), but looks to be getting back to his best in recent weeks.
Our sensational summer signing scored both goals in our 2-1 FA Cup semi-final win over Reading, and could prove hugely important in our end of season push for silverware.
