Alexis Sanchez has given up an update on his future, and says he is clear where he wants to be playing football next season, but is refusing to reveal his decision just yet.
The Arsenal forward is on international duty currently and has helped Chile to the final of the Confederations Cup in Russia, where they will face Germany on Sunday.
Ahead of the clash, the forward was asked about his future and in particular if he would be playing alongside Chile team-mate Claudio Bravo at Manchester City next season.
“Good question,” he said via the Guardian. “Right now, I am focused on the Confederations Cup. When this is finished, I will see if I stay or if I go. I don’t know.” He added: “It’s clear [in my mind] but I can’t tell you anything.”
Sanchez was reportedly then questioned further about the chances of him staying at Arsenal and replied: “I don’t know my friend, I don’t know.”
The 28-year-old’s future has dominated the headlines for months but it appears that finally, we may be about to discover his plans for next season and beyond.

Bayern Munich yesterday appeared to rule out a move Sanchez, claiming it is not their policy to spend big on older players.
Manchester City continue to be linked with Sanchez and it now appears to be a decision between staying at Arsenal or signing for Pep Guardiola’s side, if the Gunners are willing to sanction a deal.
