Alexis Sanchez is all fired up for the friendly match between Chile and Brazil in March, and was speaking on Arsenal’s official website about the upcoming fixture.
Our spectacular summer signing can’t wait to compete in such a high profile match, and the fact that he gets to perform in front of Arsenal fans at the Emirates makes it even sweeter.
He is also keen to reunite with former Barcelona teammate Neymar, and test himself against the Brazilian and his compatriots.
“I am so excited and honoured that I will get to play for the national team of Chile, against our great rivals Brazil, in front of the incredible Arsenal fans at the Emirates Stadium,” he said.
“I also look forward to playing against my good friend Neymar and welcoming him, and the rest of the Brazil team, to the Emirates Stadium.

“Matches between Brazil and Chile are always exciting matches and for me, to play this game at Emirates Stadium, will make the match even more special”
Sanchez is still recovering from a hamstring injury he recently sustained, and looks set to miss the North London derby against Tottenham this weekend. With the match against Brazil almost a month away however, he will surely be fit in plenty of time.
His loss is a bitter blow, but as we proved against Aston Villa this past weekend we are more than capable of winning without the tireless 26-year-old.
