Alexis Sanchez has apparently made a rather bizarre transfer request, and has asked Arsene Wenger to bring international teammate Eduardo Vargas to the club, according to the Metro.

Arsenal rumours
We obviously want to keep our sensational signing happy, but Wenger should not even be considering bringing Vargas to the club. He isn’t the required quality to play for Arsenal, and it’s as simple as that.
The 25-year-old spent last season on loan at Loftus Road with Queens Park Rangers, and initially looked like an intelligent signing. He didn’t even make the grade with the recently relegated side however, and would therefore surely have no chance of succeeding at the Emirates.
The Metro’s report also suggests he would cost £11.3m, which makes the move that much more unbelievable.
Chile are currently on their way to the Copa America final and Alexis Sanchez will hopefully get a real confidence boost with a win against either Argentina or Paraguay. Vargas has been excellent while on international duty – scoring a brace in their most recent game – but that should not be enough to convince Wenger.
