Alexis Sanchez reportedly wants to leave Arsenal this summer and plans to force through a move to Manchester City.
According to the Mirror, the Chilean has made up his mind, largely because he wants to play in the Champions League next season.
The report claims that City have even made a £47 million offer for Sanchez, and that he has absolutely no intention of continuing with the club.
Pep Guardiola is believed to be determined to land the former Barca star to create a formidable looking attack with Gabriel Jesus and Sergio Aguero.
Arsenal are obviously keen to keep hold of last season’s top scorer and will be hugely reluctant to sell him to City, but if the club have made a bid, they now have a decision to make.
Sanchez still has a year left on his contract, so the club could refuse to sell him, but then face the prospect of him walking away for free next summer.

It’s a nightmare scenario for Arsenal, but one that has looked on the cards for some time, with Sanchez refusing to extend his contract.
Arsenal’s failure to secure Champions League football for next season, also looks to be a factor in Sanchez’s decision, and could prove more costly than originally thought.
The Gunners must now do their best to keep hold of Sanchez, and if that is not possible, then find the best deal possible for the club.
