Alexis Sanchez finally looks to have found his best form, netting six goals in his last three games – including a brace against Manchester United last weekend. Arsene Wenger has some concerns over the Chilean however, as he limped off with a groin injury late in the game, as reported by the Daily Mail.
Alexis is set to travel with Chile for the upcoming international break, but it’s unclear whether he’ll feature.
The report claims the injury is not serious, but insists that the Arsenal medical staff will be keeping a close eye on our star forward. We will allegedly be keeping in close contact with Chile, with Arsene Wenger hoping to restrict the former Barcelona star’s minutes until he’s back to full fitness.
We really can’t afford to be without Alexis for any length of time this season, and it would be a huge blow were we to lose him just when he’s hitting his best form. He’s a massive part of our game, and was our top scorer last season. Despite his slow start to the season, his last three games suggest he could be on the way to repeating that achievement.

The international break could actually be coming at a good time, and hopefully the 26-year-old returns from duty fully fit and ready for action with Arsenal.
