Alexis Sanchez says Arsenal want to give their “amazing fans” something to celebrate with victory over Tottenham in the north London derby on Sunday.
The Gunners go into the game unbeaten since the opening day but face a Spurs side who are yet to lose in the Premier League this season.
Victory for Arsene Wenger’s men would put them six points ahead of Spurs and Sanchez says his side will give everything they have to seal victory at the Emirates.
“Absolutely [yes, fans do come up to me and say to win this game], it’s a game that they want to see us win at all costs,” he told the official Arsenal website.
“They’re a massive rival. My team-mates and I will leave everything on the pitch.
“The Arsenal fans are amazing supporters and that really helps me to perform well and want to give them something to celebrate.”

The two sides played out two draws last season in the Premier League but Sanchez is expecting an exciting game and has warned his side to be wary of Spurs on the counter attack.
“It’s going to have everything,” he added. “It’ll be a high-intensity match with plenty of hustle and bustle. I’ve played them a few times now and the first time I didn’t know what to expect.
“They told me I had to start strong, and I remember I got taken out early on but then told myself that wouldn’t happen again.
“We like to dominate possession and pass the ball around, but we’ll have to be wise to the counter-attack.”
Arsenal fans will certainly be hoping Sanchez and the team can give them reason to celebrate on Sunday with the Gunners certainly the form team going into the clash.
