As the season draws to a close, the team has once again made sure that there is still a lot to play for in the final weeks of the campaign.
An FA Cup final against Aston Villa is penciled in for the end of May, and as we prepare to face Chelsea this weekend, Arsene Wenger’s men have the chance to make the title race a little more interesting.
However, the culmination of the Premier League campaign usually switches the focus to which individuals deserve special recognition for their contribution this season.
At Arsenal, there’s only realistically four contenders for our player of the season award, and below we make a case for each one.

Our Spanish magician has been outstanding since the turn of the year, and the presence of Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho on the PFA player of the year list is laughable when matching up his performances against Cazorla. Scoring seven goals and assisting eight this season, he has been integral to our form in 2015. Arsene Wenger was experiencing a central midfield crisis of some sort during the winter, but Cazorla’s move inside proved to be decisive.
