Arda Turan’s agent Ahmet Bulut has insisted he has had no contact with Arsenal after the Gunners were linked with a summer move for the Barcelona star.
Reports on Thursday indicated that Arsenal were set to sign the Turkey international who they view as a potential replacement for Mesut Ozil.
However, Bulut has swiftly played down talk of a move to the Premier League and insists the player is not looking to leave Camp Nou.
“There is currently no offer, there is nothing to speak of right now,” he told ESPN.
“I have not been contacted by Arsenal. As I said before, he is happy at Barcelona and has three years left on his contract.”
Bulut’s words do not really come as a surprise with Arda having turned 30 in January and Arsene Wenger generally reluctant to sign older players.

The future of the former Atletico Madrid man does seem unclear, however, with Luis Enrique, the man who brought him to Camp Nou set to leave this summer.
Reports have also claimed that he could be tempted to move to England as he has property in London.
While Arsenal are clearly in need of changes in the summer much may depend on whether Wenger stays on and also whether Alexis Sanchez and Ozil remain at the club.
The latest speculation suggests Arsenal will be willing to sell the duo if they do not extend their contracts, although the club’s preference is obviously to keep hold of them.
