After we finally ended our recently disappointing run against Chelsea, there were a number of interesting talking points to discuss ahead of the new season.
The result must be put into context given that both sides may not have been in peak condition, but there were certainly a number of flash points which could prove to be crucial throughout the campaign.

The roles were clearly reversed as we deployed a similar tactic to the one which defeated Manchester City in January. An early goal meant that we were capable of inviting pressure before launching a few counter-attacks.
After being on the receiving end of such similar strategies from Jose Mourinho, it was nice to give him a taste of his own medicine.
