Arsenal v West Bromwich Albion
Barclays Premier League
Emirates
Kick off: May 4, 2014 1.30 PM BST
In what looked like a preseason friendly Gunners have reached a fourth consecutive victory and kept a clean sheet for the third time in a row.
Wojciech Szczesny | 7.0: Not very busy today as the visitors didn’t offer too much going forward. Dealt with what was thrown at him well.

Bacary Sagna | 7.0: We all hope that he will stay at Arsenal but it is more likely that it was his last performance as a Gunner at Emirates Stadium. He was solid at the back. If he leaves, there will be a huge void to fill.
Per Mertesacker | 7.0: I expected him to get a rest but Wenger thought otherwise. The BFG gave a solid performance.
Laurent Koscielny | 7.5: Strong performance as usual and kept the opponents far from Szczesny. It will be interesting to see how he is going to perform at the World Cup without BFG (and vice versa).
Nacho Monreal | 7.0: Got booked. Found his feet as the end of the season approaches.
Mikel Arteta | 6.5: Nothing spectacular from the Spaniard.
Mathieu Flamini | 6.5: Had a more advanced role in the absence of Ramsey but didn’t offer us what the Welshman does.
Santi Cazorla | 7.25: Santi grabbed another assist from a set-piece – this time it was his corner that ended with Giroud’s goal. Could have scored himself but Foster saved his shot.
Mesut Özil | 7.25: The German wasn’t as good as he was against Newcastle but it was enough given the circumstance.
Lukas Podolski | 6.5: Was denied by the post in the second half. Wasn’t too effective.
Olivier Giroud | 7.5 (MoTM): Scored another goal with a really well-taken header and surpassed Theo Walcott’s tally from last season (22:21) with two more games to go. Got booked at the end.
Substitutes:
Kim Kallstrom | 6.0: Had one poor shot at the end of the game. His campaign at Arsenal approaches the end as Wenger has confirmed the Swede will return to Moscow.
Tomas Rosicky | 7.0: Had a good run down the right flank when he was introduced for Cazorla.
Thomas Vermaelen | 7.0: Replaced Monreal. It’s hard to say whether he is going to stay at Arsenal beyond the summer.
