Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud has reinforced his admiration for team-mate Mesut Ozil after stating that the World Cup winner has the ability to “make the difference.”
Ozil has been in sensational form since he returned from his knee injury and looks like he’s put on extra muscle to handle the rigors of the game in the Premier League.
Giroud, whilst speaking to Telefoot, is delighted the club showed ambition to bring the likes of Ozil in and was full of praise for the wizard.
“Ozil, he is a calm force,” the Frenchman said (via le10sport)
“He is very calm, perhaps even introverted, but very much much technically at ease. And when he is playing at a level of high confidence, he makes the difference.”
His assists and goals have continued to flow and Ozil looks like a man on the mission to proving his worth.

Arsene Wenger has also found the formation to play the German through the middle – perhaps more through luck than design, given injuries to Aaron Ramsey and Jack Wilshere have resulted in Santi Cazorla being deployed deeper – and it looks like Ozil is enjoying being central to our game.
