Arsenal have agreed a deal with Wolverhampton Wanderers for the loan signing of our goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez with a move expected to be completed imminently, Wolves boss Kenny Jackett has just confirmed.
Jackett has also confirmed that Wolves have a verbal agreement with @Arsenal for the loan of Emiliano Martínez. Hopefully completed today.

Martinez was prominent in our pre-season fixtures and put in some impressive performances, however, it seems as though Arsene Wenger is happy with just David Ospina and Petr Cech as our senior goalkeepers.
Wojciech Szczesny was loaned out last month with the Polish international currently at Italian side Roma and it seems that Martinez will shortly be plying his trade elsewhere too.
This won’t be the first time we’ve done business with Wolves, with the midlands club signing our academy star Benik Afobe in January who has gone on to become a revelation for them.

Martinez, despite his imminent loan spell, certainly has a future at our club and seems to be the most talented goalkeeper to emerge from our ranks in recent years.
Hopefully, just like Chuba Akpom and Jon Toral, Martinez can establish himself in the Wolves side this season and show many what he’s capable of.
