Arsenal have beaten Manchester United and Chelsea to the signing of David Beckham’s son Brooklyn, according to reports in Daily Star.
The 15 year old reportedly impressed coaches at the Emirates, so they have tied him down for the rest of the season and there are plans for a longer deal in the summer, should the youngster impress during his stay at Arsenal.
His two brothers Romeo and Cruz are on the books with the Gunners as well, though Beckham’s eldest son is the first to pen a serious deal.
A source close to the North London club claims the youngster could be a huge talent and Arsenal have signed him to protect him from being snapped up by Man United. The source said:
Brooklyn is talented and he has stood out in all of the training sessions and games he has played.
He has had other teams sniffing around and it was always going to be a case of when, not if, he was signed up by a big-name club.
Arsenal realise he can be a huge talent.

They have seen that potential and protected their asset.
The club has signed him, fending off interest from Manchester United and Chelsea in the meantime.
Next summer we may see him sign a big-money deal and with Arsenal.
David Beckham is a footballing legend having forged a hugely successful career with Man United, Real Madrid, LA Galaxy, AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain. The former right-midfielder was arguably the finest set-piece taker in the world during his peak and will be hoping his son can have some of the success that he had as a player.
Wenger is always looking to sign young talented stars for the future and if Brooklyn can be anything close to his father, the Gunners may have signed a massively talented boy.
