Arsenal have very recently announced that we’ll be doing a pre-season tour of the US this summer to play the MLS All Stars, and accompanying the news was a promo video.
The video features a number of Arsenal stars, as well as host of big MLS names too – Kaka included. Perhaps the funniest bit of the video is right at the start though, when we engage in a good old but of Tottenham trolling.
Tottenham played the MLS All Stars last summer in a friendly, and were beaten 2-1 by the American side. At the start of the video when a couple of MLS stars are playing Fifa, they are flicking through a few teams and and trying to decide who they should play this summer. They go past Bayern Munich, and decide against them. They then go past Tottenham, and mutter: “Beat them”. Arsenal then pops up, and they give each other that look to say: “That’s the one“.
The video also features cameos from the likes of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Calum Chambers, Laurent Koscielny, Joel Campbell, Francis Coquelin, Kieran Gibbs, new signing Mohamed Eleneny, and the King himself Thierry Henry.
The acting in the video is brilliantly bad, with Chambers just casually having a quick phone conversation with Kaka, and the Brazilian making sure to remind him that Mesut Özil owes him dinner.

It’s a fun video full of jokes, and is so bad in certain parts that you can’t help but laugh. The important thing to gather from it though, is that we’ll be playing in the US next summer against the MLS All Stars.
