Arsenal are closing in on a £50 million deal for Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette, according to The Sun.
The report claims Arsene Wenger is confident of bringing in the France international with Lyon already planning for the future without their star man.
The Ligue 1 side are set to bring in Bertrand Traore from Chelsea and Eliaquim Mangala from Manchester City, and will need the cash from Lacazette’s sale to finance the deals.
The report also claims that Lacazette’s arrival will mean Olivier Giroud will depart Arsenal this summer.
The Frenchman spent most of last season on the bench, and while he still managed 16 goals in all competitions, the club will allow him to leave.
Giroud reportedly wants to be playing regularly next season and would rather remain in London, which means West Ham could be a possible destination.

Arsenal are hopeful they can get £20m for the striker, with the Hammers keen to strengthen their attack which was decimated by injuries last season.
The Gunners are also still being linked with Kylian Mbappe today, while there is still no update on the futures of Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil.
The Chilean is currently on Confederations Cup duty and has insisted he will not think about his future until after the tournament, despite the continued speculation.
