The teamsheet for Arsenal’s trip to Watford has been released, and for the most part it’s as you’d expect. There are a couple of notable absentees though, which have certainly got the fans asking questions.
Petr Cech starts in goal, with Hector Bellerin and Nacho Monreal on either flank. Per Mertesacker and Laurent Koscielny resume their partnership in central defence, but what is most worrying is Gabriel Paulista’s total omission from the squad. He’s not even on the bench, which suggests an injury of some sorts.
The rest of the team is as you were, with Francis Coquelin, Santi Cazorla, and Mesut Özil our midfield trio. Aaron Ramsey is on the right, Alexis Sanchez on the left, and Theo Walcott continues his role up front.

David Ospina was unlikely to start this game, but strangely, he seems to have been left out completely. Young Matt Macey replaces him on the bench, so let’s hope nothing happens to Cech.

In spite pf Ospina and Gabriel’s absences from the bench, this is pretty much our strongest team. We should be more than capable of brushing aside Watford, and will hopefully come away from Vicarage Road with our third consecutive Premier League victory.
