Reports in Spain suggest that Arsenal are the frontrunners to sign Julian Draxler from Paris Saint Germain in the January transfer window (via Sport Witness).
He’s one of a small group of players who seemingly get linked with a move to Arsenal whenever the transfer window opens.
William Carvalho, Saloman Kalou and Yoann Gourcuff will probably never happen but after Alexandre Lacazette actually did join Arsenal, maybe Julian Draxler will too?
Draxler has been the subject of much interest from the Gunners in the past and Wenger even reportedly made a bid for the player back in 2015.
Now, the German is at Paris Saint Germain but after the summer arrivals of Kylian Mbappe and Neymar, his place in the side is more than a little doubtful.

Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo wrote this week that Draxler himself was keen to move to FC Barcelona over the summer.
However, the Spanish giants were not interested and now the paper is claiming that the Gunners are next in line with a January move possible.
Julian Draxler would be an excellent signing for Arsenal. Whether he would be an Alexis Sanchez replacement or not, the German is a quality footballer who would suit the Gunners’ style of play incredibly well. Perhaps a good deal could be negotiated once the window opens.
