Arsenal defender Calum Chambers has warned Man City that his team-mates are eyeing their place in the Premier League table after we won our eighth successive home game.
Arsene Wenger has repeatedly stated that our home form will decide the rest of the season and it seems as though the players are taking that on board with an efficient performance against West Ham yesterday.
Chambers was one of five changes made by the boss from the euphoric win at Old Trafford last week, yet the rhythm wasn’t affected as we scored three sensational team goals.

“We’ve got to aim for as high as we can really. We’ve got to go into every game and try and get a win and see where that takes us,” Chambers told the Evening Standard.
“We’ve got a lot of confidence built up as well as momentum from good results in the League so we’ve just got to keep that momentum going and keep the confidence going and get the results we need.”
Whilst many talk about our chances regarding the race for fourth, we are now only a point off second-place Man City and six off Chelsea at the top of the Premier League, although Jose Mourinho’s Blues have two games in hand.

Having said that, given the points at the top end of the table, if yesterday’s result doesn’t mean that Man City are now in a top four battle, then we can safely say that we’re back in the title race!
