Arsenal have moved quickly to deny reports that they have made an offer for Borussia Dortmund manager Thomas Tuchel as they seek a replacement for Arsene Wenger should he decide to leave this summer (via ESPN).
Pressure is mounting on Arsene Wenger with fans in disbelief over the Gunners current run of form that has seen them slip to sixth in the Premier League.
The Frenchman is currently enduring his worst run since taking over in 1996, having lost four of Arsenal’s last five Premier League ties.
Speculation over who could replace the Frenchman has dominated headlines recently, and it appeared Arsenal made a big move for Dortmund boss Tuchel with reports of a formal offer made.
Although there are no direct quotes from the club – ESPN are a proven, reliable source. However, Arsenal would deny contact with another manager regardless especially with club legend Wenger facing new levels of resentment from sections of the Arsenal faithful.
