Arsenal have been drawn against Championship side Preston in the third round of the FA Cup.
The Gunners have been drawn away from home and will travel to Deepdale to take on Simon Grayson’s side who are currently 14th in the Championship.
Arsene Wenger’s men will be hoping to lift the trophy for a record 13th time when they begin their campaign in January.
Arsenal are currently tied with Manchester United as the clubs who have lifted the trophy the most times (12) and also possess the most number of final appearances (19).
The Gunners have enjoyed huge success in the competition recently winning the trophy in both 2013-14 and 2014-15 but were denied a hat-trick of titles last season by a sixth round exit at the hand of Watford.
The tie is scheduled for the 6th-9th January 2017 which will fall between Premier League games away at Bournemouth and Swansea City.
