Arsene Wenger has been far more willing to open his cheque book as of late, but arguably hasn’t had the funds to work with. That all looks set to change however, with the Premier League seeing a colossal new TV rights deal that will run from 2016-19 worth over £5.136 billion.

The money will filter down to the clubs, with every team likely to see a massive increase in available funds. This gives us the potential to bring in a host of new faces, and means we could potentially build an ultimate Arsenal dream team.
Here is an example of the team we could have heading into the 2016/17 season:
GK) Marc-Andre ter Stegen

The German shot-stopper is unhappy at playing second fiddle to Claudio Bravo at Barcelona, and is reportedly looking for a move. The La Liga giants are unlikely to want to sell while their transfer ban is active, but by 2016 they may have softened their stance somewhat.
Wojciech Szczesny and David Ospina both need to do more to prove they deserve to be the undisputed No.1 at Arsenal, and risk being replaced.
RB) Hector Bellerin
The young Spaniard is starting to look like the real deal already, and if he continues to improve then he is sure to be our right-back for years to come.
CB) Laurent Koscielny
The agile Frenchman may be getting on a bit by the time the money becomes available, but if he is still at his best then he certainly deserves a place in the team.
CB) Gabriel Paulista
Our January signing is yet to make an appearance, but if he can continue showing the form he displayed at Villarreal then he could be our future defensive rock.
LB) Jose Luis Gaya
Kieran Gibbs and Nacho Monreal have both performed well when fielded this season, but neither are arguably the world class left-back we need. Gibbs has often looked like having the potential, but his injury record has prevented him from reaching it.
The Valencia teenager is lighting up La Liga at the moment, and is one of the hottest prospects in Spain. Arsene Wenger was apparently keen on bringing him to the club this past January, so we may see him arrive at the Emirates in the future.
DM) Morgan Schneiderlin
A player almost every Arsenal fan would love to see join the club, the Southampton star has been top of our list for quite a while. It’s looking more and more likely that we will eventually get our man, but it seems to be a matter of money at the moment.
CM) Jack Wilshere
Although he is yet to reach the lofty heights expected of him, I fully expect the 23-year-old to eventually fulfill his potential.
He bleeds Arsenal, and if he can remain injury free for any length of time could yet be the future of our midfield.
This is a contentious choice, but with Aaron Ramsey’s form seemingly in a downward spiral, who else would we want in the box to box role come 2016?
CAM) Mesut Özil
The German playmaker finally looks to be finding some semblance of the form he showed while in a Real Madrid shirt, and may yet prove to be worth the record fee we paid for him. With Santi Cazorla getting on in years, Özil is likely to soon supplant him completely as our No.10.
RAM) Alexis Sanchez
The Chilean has been sensational since joining the club this past summer, and has the potential to go down as an Arsenal legend. He could be a talisman at the Emirates for years to come, and will surely still be a driving force in 2016.
LAM) Marco Reus
Although the German international has recently penned a new deal at Borussia Dortmund, he is likely to look for an exit if they are relegated come the end of the season.
Even if they do somehow manage to stay up the pacey forward may be keen to move on for the sake of Champions League football, and he has said before that he is keen to work with Arsene Wenger.
ST) Alexandre Lacazette
The Frenchman has been prolific in Ligue 1 this season, and has helped keep Lyon atop the table for almost the entirety of the campaign.
Wenger is known to be a fan of the talented forward, and has looked before at the possibility of bringing him to the Emirates.
