Ramsey and Giroud, like may others, didn’t produce the type of performance we now expect from them and a swift response is needed against Crystal Palace at the weekend.
After what happened last season, there was a clear emphasis from all the noises coming from within the club that we needed a quick start and Sunday’s result was a definite blow to those targets.
However, with Manchester City and Chelsea lining up against each other shortly after our game at Selhurst Park concludes, we can retrieve some ground on at least one of our rivals, providing we clinch all three points.

Therefore, Ramsey’s message, in particular, should be the mindset of the whole squad as we look to sustain a serious title challenge and get our season up and running.
