Arsene Wenger is surprisingly planning to offload Yaya Sanogo and Joel Campbell this summer, with both players deemed surplus to requirements, according to The Sun.

The attacking pair struggled to make an impact this season, despite being given a handful of opportunities at the start of the campaign. They were both farmed out on loan in January, but The Sun reports that they could be set for permanent exits come the end of the season.
Sanogo is currently at Premier League club Crystal Palace, but has found game time hard to come by in Alan Pardew’s new look Eagles side. The Frenchman still has plenty of time to improve, but there doesn’t seem to be a place for him in the current Arsenal squad.
Campbell has done far better during his loan spell with La Liga side Villarreal, and has been impressing in Spain since his arrival. There are still questions over whether he is Arsenal quality however, and – despite signing a new deal recently (via Arsenal) – could be on his way out of the club this summer if The Sun are correct.
Wenger may well be willing to listen to offers for the pair, who need to be playing regular first team football to improve. Another loan spell could do them both some good, but few would complain if we were to replace them with more experienced stars.
