Arsenal are looking at PSG attacker Lucas Moura after the French side completed the world record transfer of Brazilian star Neymar (via The Daily Star).
Huge transfers always seem to have knock-on effects in football, with Arsenal benefitting immensely in recent years.
The Gareth Bale to Real Madrid deal saw the Gunners pick up Mesut Özil, the Luis Suarez to Barcelona deal helped them get Alexis Sanchez, and now it seems that Neymar’s transfer to PSG could help the Gunners too.
Reports in Brazil claim that due to the increased competition, PSG are ready to sell Lucas Moura who is also in search of first-team football.
UOL Esporte are the origins of the claims, with the Brazilian publication claiming that Arsenal are at the front of the queue for the winger after already having one approach rejected.
Lucas has made over 200 appearances for the Parisian side and won and incredible 15 trophies with the Ligue 1 side reportedly after £27 million for his signature.

It does seem a little unlikely that Arsenal would make a move for Lucas Moura. After months of courting Monaco’s Thomas Lemar, a switch to the PSG man would be a little strange. Moura is a little too similar to players like Theo Walcott and there would probably have to be some outgoings before making a move for the Brazilian. If Arsenal were to go for any PSG attacker then Julian Draxler should be the number one target.
