Bayern Munich are currently looking to ensure future success by finding long term replacements for Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery, as the two ageing stars have been struggling with numerous injuries. Theo Walcott has been touted as a possible option, but Pep Guardiola has turned the England international down, according to SportBild.

Walcott is currently in the final 12 months of his contract (via The Independent), and could potentially leave for a hugely reduced fee. The report states that both Walcott and Arsenal are confident the issues will be resolved, but he could always have his head turned before then.
A move to the Bundesliga seems unlikely, especially given Guardiola’s stance on the player. SportBild claims that the former Barcelona boss is currently under pressure to build for the future with the German champions, but he has vetoed moves for Paul-George Ntep and Theo Walcott.

It would be somewhat painful to lose Walcott at this point, regardless of who he was sold to. We stuck by him through his injury plagued formative years, and are finally at a point now where we could reap the rewards.
