Arsenal have been given a huge boost in their bid to sign Kylian Mbappe from Monaco, as it has been claimed he would love to work with Arsene Wenger.
The Gunners have reportedly already had a bid turned down for the teenager but are ready to return with a world-record offer.
French newspaper Le Parisien now claims Mbappe could be tempted to move to north London, largely because of Wenger.
They also quote a source as saying that not having Champions League football would also not be a problem for Mbappe.
“Wenger, he is a great,” a source told the newspaper. “If Mbappé were to sign for Arsenal tomorrow, it would be for him.
“He knows how to produce youngsters and especially former French international team forwards, Thierry Henry and Nicolas Anelka. Only playing in the Europa League is not an obstacle for him.”

The newspaper goes further to also quote a source close to the player as seeing Arsenal as a “stepping stone” to a move to either Real Madrid or Barcelona.
“Kylian is currently thinking things over,” the source said. “Either he will go to a stepping-stone club, or directly to a great club.
“But his aim is very clear: to sign for one of the two biggest clubs in the world, they are Real Madrid or Barcelona for him, before reaching the age of 22.”
Wenger has already admitted he came close to signing Mbappe last year and appears to have a good relationship with the player.
Will it be enough to land Mbappe? It’s still hard to see it happening, particularly with Real Madrid also believed to be keen, but it certainly can’t be ruled out just yet.
