Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere is set to hand the club a massive boost by penning a new long-term contract upon his return to London Colney for pre-season, the Daily Mail reports.
Wilshere has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester City, as the report suggests, but it seems as though he is once again going to commit his future to the club.
Despite the constant links suggesting the 23-year-old could move on, few fans actually felt that this would become a reality such is Wilshere’s connection to the club.
