Arsenal have apparently enquired about the availability of Atletico Madrid’s Yannick Carrasco, with the La Liga side giving us permission to discuss a €20m-25m deal (via the Express).

The 22-year-old was almost the hero during Atletico Madrid’s narrow loss against local rivals Real Madrid in the Champions League final, with the winger coming off the bench to score the equaliser – which eventually proved not enough as they crashed out on penalties.
Carrasco only joined Atletico last summer for a reported £15m (via the Express), but Arsene Wenger is looking to lure him to the Premier League after just a single season.
The La Liga side are apparently willing to listen to offers for the Belgian international too, with Italian journalist Emanuele Giulianelli claiming we’ve been given permission to discuss terms ahead of a €20m-25m deal.
Arsenal asked Atletico Madrid to be allowed to make a bid for Carrasco. Atletico available to listen. About €20/25mln

Giulianelli is obviously not the most reliable of sources, so this one is certainly being taken with a pinch of salt at the moment. Carrasco is a massively talented young winger though, and that’s something we’re missing at the moment.
Alexis Sanchez is superb on either flank, but we lack someone to balance him on the opposite side. Arsene Wenger has a habit of playing centrally minded players like Aaron Ramsey and Jack Wilshere on the flanks, but ideally we need another tricky winger.
Arsenal transfer news
A striker is arguably far more of a concern this summer, as Olivier Giroud is currently our only real option up front. A winger and perhaps a defender or two certainly wouldn’t go amiss though, and if we are to seriously challenge for the Premier League – and even the Champions League – next season then we definitely need a few more signings.
