Arsenal’s goalkeeping legend David Seaman has bluntly warned the club that in order for us to win the major trophies, we must keep our best players with rumours persisting regarding Manchester City’s interest in Jack Wilshere.

According to reports (via The Independent), Manchester City are looking to offer £30m for our midfield star but despite Wenger insisting that the period of our best players departing was over (via ESPN), rumours continue to circulate.
It is difficult to see Wilshere pushing for a move and with Wenger already dismissing the rumours, the majority of fans seem to be calm about the situation.
Arsenal transfer rumours
However, Seaman is the second former player to issue a warning with Liam Brady stating that Wilshere must stay given how deeply rooted he is in the club (via talkSPORT).

Wilshere came to us at the age of nine and has blossomed into as seasoned international. At a time when you could only scout players under the age of 16 if they lived an hour away from the club, the 23-year-old has turned out to be a minor miracle.
Wilshere is almost certainly going nowhere! He’s one of our own.
