According to the Mirror, Arsenal are considering a big money move for AC Milan bad-boy Mario Balotelli.
The English tabloid believe Arsene Wenger has been “made aware” of the strikers availability, and look set to take advantage of Milan’s financial struggles.
The Gunners boss voiced his admiration for the Italy international prior to his move to Manchester City from Inter Milan, but he has since struggled to live up to his massive potential and hype due to his temperament and off-field antics.
Since his return to Serie A in 2013, the 23-year-old has notched a respectable 30 goals in 54 matches. Arsenal seriously need a top class centre forward to supplement Olivier Giroud, but is Balotelli the man to fill our void? Unless Wenger can discipline a footballer who is a loose as they come, I seriously doubt it.
But if anyone can sort him out, surely Wenger is the man to do it. For the reported £25m he may well be worth the risk. What do you think Gooners?
