Arsene Wenger could go with the same squad for the clash against Manchester United with the likes of Mikel Arteta, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Mathieu Debuchy ruled out having failed to recover from their respective knocks, the boss confirmed to Arsenal.com.
Danny Welbeck remains the only player capable of returning to the squad from the one which suffered our first defeat in 11 games against Swansea City.
The boss also revealed that Aaron Ramsey isn’t currently in training but expects the Welshman to resume full-training in the next few days and declare himself fit for the clash at Old Trafford.
Regarding the aforementioned trio, the boss declared that he’s unaware of their return dates and hopes that they’ll still feature this season.

“Danny Welbeck has a little possibility to be fit. Aaron Ramsey is not in training yet but he should be better tomorrow. I don’t think we have any big injuries, maybe Welbeck will be available but at the moment he looks short.
“I don’t know how long the others will be out for, it’s difficult to say, but hopefully they will play again this season.”
It is difficult to see the likes of Oxlade-Chamberlain, Debuchy and Arteta featuring again this campaign given how long it would take for them to reach match-fitness once they’ve overcome their various problems.
With an FA Cup final looming large at the end of May, they will certainly be desperate to prove their fitness in order to be included in the travelling party that heads to Wembley.
