Atletico Madrid winger Arda Turan, who has been linked with Arsenal, is keen on a move to the Premier League, according to his agent.
Arsenal have been encouraged to make a formal bid for Arda Turan after the Atletico Madrid winger’s agent revealed his client would jump at the chance to move to the Premier League. Liverpool are also thought to be interested in him.
The 26-year-old Turkish international has been heavily linked with a transfer to England in the past during his playing days with Galatasaray but ended up moving to the Vicente Calderon in the summer of 2011.
His agent Ahmet Bulut has now suggested that a move to Arsenal or Liverpool could happen should Turan’s €24 million buy-out clause be met.
According to Metro, he said :
The club does not want to sell Arda. However, if we were to get an offer equal to his €24 million buy-out clause Atletico should listen to such a proposal.
Arsenal and Liverpool? A destination in the Premier League would be to the liking of the player and I can confirm there are clubs interested, like the two mentioned.

At the moment there are no concrete offers, only enquiries.
However, Galatasaray president Unal Aysal has claimed the midfielder has informed his former club that he wants to return to the Turkish outfit. Aysal said :
I’ve spoken to Arda and he’s told me he wants to come back.
Turan established himself as an integral part of Diego Simeone’s first-team squad, playing a pivotal part in their Europa League and Copa del Rey final triumphs over the past two seasons.
Turan is 26 years old and his approaching his prime. He is very good with both his feet and has a great vision, tactically he’s very disciplined and he’s also known for making crucial interceptions. He is intelligent enough to switch positions and vary his runs off the ball. He is a crafty passer and operates more as an attacking midfielder, rather than a traditional winger.
Arsene Wenger had endured a hugely frustrating summer that’s seen him spend none of the clubs reported £70 million war chest that is available, but he hinted on Tuesday that he’s gearing up for a busy final few days in the transfer window.
Arsenal certainly need a more creative player in the wide position as we are short in that section due to the injury to Chamberlain which will keep him out of action for 3 months, so we need a player to fill that position and Turan will be a perfect fit.
He would be a good addition to Arsenal but €24 million is a little too high i feel. With just 10 days remaining in the transfer window any new additions would be welcome at this point of time considering we haven’t made any deals all summer.
Is he worth €24 million?
