Arsenal are reportedly looking at thrashing out a deal for West Ham full back Aaron Cresswell with the 25-year-old enjoying a solid season for his club, according to the Metro.
Signed from Ipswich in the summer, Cresswell has been one of the signings of the season, going about his job in a consistent manner despite this being his first year in the Premier League.
The left-back position has been a problematic one for us this season, with Wenger yet to decide on whether Kieran Gibbs or Nacho Monreal is his preferred choice.

Wenger would argue that he’s just fully utilising the strength in depth in that position, which would mean a move for Cresswell may be unlikely.

Carl Jenkinson remains on loan at Upton Park and the club will no doubt want to hang onto him, which may provoke a potential swap deal.
Hector Bellerin’s emergence and Mathieu Debuchy’s arrival last summer have put Jenkinson’s future in doubt.
