Mesut Özil has been in inspired form since his return from injury, but ex-Arsenal shot-stopper Jens Lehmann claims he has the potential to do more, according to Four Four Two.
The German playmaker has been a large part of our fantastic form in 2015, and has not only pulled the strings in a number of games, but has also regularly chipped in with goals and assists.
He has been heavily criticised since his switch from Real Madrid, with many feeling he is yet to justify his £42.5m (via The Guardian) price tag.
The criticism he has received has often been somewhat harsh, and the 26-year-old has certainly been justifying being made our record signing this season.

Lehmann insists there is still far more to come from his compatriot however, and claims Özil has the potential to lead Arsenal to glory and silverware.
“Arsenal bought him to win championships nationally and internationally. That should be his goal,” Lehmann said is quoted as saying by Four Four Two.
“He can’t do that on his own but he should be the one making the difference in big games. He’s got the potential but has to show it.”
We experienced another disappointing and premature exit from the Champions League this season, and are looking increasingly likely to miss out on the Premier League title yet again. Despite that however, we are currently in the semi-final of the FA Cup, and are favourites to lift the title for the second year running, according to Odds Checker.
Özil could potentially lift his second trophy since his arrival at the Emirates, and while we should be aiming for more than the FA Cup, silverware in consecutive years is more than we have achieved before his arrival.
