Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Nice midfielder Jean-Michael Seri, who has attracted interest from all over Europe this summer.
According to L’Equipe, Arsenal have been keen on the Ivory Coast international for some time and could be set to make a move.
Seri has been linked with a move to Roma, but a move failed to materialise for financial reasons, and his future continues to be the subject of speculation.
The report claims that Tottenham have also registered an interest and notes that Seri has a €40 million release clause.
Seri certainly impressed last season for Nice, who finished the season in an impressive third place in Ligue 1 behind Paris Saint-Germain and Nice.
The midfielder scored seven goals and contributed nine assists in 34 starts for Nice, but it is his excellence in possession that really stands out.

While Arsenal have largely been focused on attacking targets this summer so far, bringing in Alexandre Lacazette, and hoping to seal a deal for Thomas Lemar, a move for a midfielder would be a wise decision.
Seri certainly looks to be an excellent option for Arsenal, and at a reasonable price, particularly with Santi Cazorla still sidelined due to injury and his future under some doubt.
