He claimed to have spoken to Winterburn recently, with the former full-back letting slip that Wenger and Walcott had been involved in a huge argument.
“Theo and Arsene had a big row, Arsene told him off massively at the training ground last week,” he said on the Tuesday Club.
The pacey winger has struggled for first team football since returning from a lengthy spell on the sidelines, with many theorising that it’s down to his contract situation.
He has just over a year left on his current deal, and if he refuses to sign an extension then he will more than likely be sold this summer.
We jumped through hoops to get him to extend his contract in 2013, and Wenger may not be keen to go through that again.
The 25-year-old is not nearly as vital to the team as he once was, so if he is pushing for a pay rise then he may find his bargaining power significantly diminished.
