We have been linked with a surprising move for Marseille man Andre Ayew in the past and the Express are now claiming that the Ghanaian could be “forced” out of the Ligue 1 club this summer.
The 25-year-old has performed well for Marseille this season, scoring four times as well as providing a further three assists, though he doesn’t strike me as the kind of player we need however and nor does he look to be of the required quality to play at Arsenal.
Nonetheless, he looks to be on his way out of Marseille, with the club allegedly unwilling to meet his wage demands.
“A player wants to advance in all aspects,” he said.
“In my head, everything is open. If I must leave then I shall. But I love Marseille. Soon we will meet about it.”
Ayew is set to begin talks with the club before the end of the season, with Marseille keen to tie him down to a long term deal.

With the player so far proving key to their title push it’s not surprising they are looking to hold onto him.
With the two parties allegedly some distance apart when it comes to wages however, it seems unlikely a deal will get done.
Ayew has helped his side to second spot in the top flight of French football, but seems happy to move on if a better opportunity surfaces this summer.
I can’t see us going in for him, but you never know with Arsene Wenger!
