Arsenal fans finally could be in for positive news as British news outlet the Telegraph report that Arsenal are eyeing a move for one of two Real Madrid aces: James Rodriguez or Isco.
Arsenal have had a let-down of a summer transfer window after months of speculation proved fruitless. Leciester City have been a club Arsene Wenger looked to poach for star names, but the English Premier League champions held their ground by retaining striker Jamie Vardy and releasing strong indications of a no-go on the Riyad Mahrez sale.
Word of Higuain’s arrival amounted to nothing when the Serie A club requested a hefty £76m fee, with the Argentine eventually moving to Juventus. And in more current news, word and rumors on a Lacazette signing have died down with no new word yet. Arsene Wenger however still insists that their camp is willing to splurge on future signings the remainder of the summer.
Amidst these stale transfer developments, there is fresh on two potential additions to the Gunners squad, this time from Santiago Bernabeu. One of these two attackers is James Rodriguez, who has been repeatedly linked with transfer out of Real Madrid this summer. Furthermore, recent rumors suggest that an unnamed English side offered £72 million for the Colombian sensation.
Another attacker highly anticipated to be sold by Los Blancos is Isco. The Spaniard was a highly sought after playmaker before eventually signing for Real Madrid; however, the last two seasons have proved lackluster for the Spaniard.
Zinedine Zidane appears likely to sell the former Malaga star turned Real Madrid outcast in hopes of gaining management approval for further summer signings. A possible outfit is the Gunners, having showed considerable interest before his 2013 addition to the reigning Champions League holders.

Whether Isco is required at Arsenal is questionable, given the number of creative midfielders already at Le Prof’s disposal. Rodriguez, on the other hand, could add much needed flare to the attack.
