Reports suggest that Arsenal are keen to sell Mesut Ozil in January and that the club is looking for a buyer for the German midfielder (via The Mirror).
It was clear to anyone who watched the defeat to Watford at the weekend that things are far from well at Arsenal right now.
The defeat to Watford compounded those failures with poor finishing, terrible defending and an overall lack of desire running through the entire squad.
Mesut Ozil didn’t start the match but missed a huge chance less than a minute before Watford were handed their equalising goal.
The German has seen more than his fair share of criticism in recent seasons and it seems that the club has had enough with reports suggesting that Arsene Wenger is ready to sell the German in January.

Ozil’s contract expires in the summer and there is no indication that he will sign a new deal.
Inter Milan are perhaps the only club to have declared a public interest in the player with other teams reportedly turned off a potential deal by the German’s huge wage demands.
It remains to be seen whether there is any truth in these rumours but even the biggest Mesut Ozil supporters will admit that he hasn’t played the best football of his career at Arsenal. At times, the German has been magnificent but when he is off form he adds nothing to the team. If he is refusing to sign a new deal then let’s hope the club can get some money for him in January.
