Arsenal have reportedly made a huge bid for Real Madrid star James Rodriguez who seems destined to leave the Bernabeu this summer.
According to the Daily Express, the Gunners have made an official offer which has been rejected by los Blancos as it did not quite meet their £69.8 million valuation.
The Colombian was left out of Madrid’s squad for the Champions League final, further fuelling speculation he has played his last game for the club.
The 25-year-old’s deal at Zinedine Zidane’s side lasts until 2020 but he has struggled for game time making just 13 Liga starts last season.
Manchester United have been heavily linked with a move for James, but it appears that Arsenal may also be in the running if the speculation is true.
There will surely be no shortage of offers for the Colombian who has still shown his quality at Madrid this season, despite failing to force his way back into the first-team.
