Arsenal have reportedly made a late enquiry for Paris Saint-Germain’s Germany international Julian Draxler, who could be allowed to leave the French side this summer.
According to Le 10 Sport, the Gunners have shown an interest in Draxler along with Borussia Dortmund and Liverpool.
Although the German only arrived in Paris in January, the arrival of Neymar and, potentially Kylian Mbappe, mean the French side need to sell in order to attempt to meet Financial Fair Play regulations.
The club are expected to offload several players before Thursday with Angel Di Maria, Hatem Ben Arfa, Serge Aurier and Grzegorz Krychowiak all being tipped to leave.
However, Draxler is another player who could depart, particularly as he is likely to see his game time reduced following the club’s signings this summer.
Arsenal have long been linked with a move for Draxler and may well be in the market for another player having seen their attempts to land Thomas Lemar from Monaco fail.

The club’s poor start to the season may also tempt the club into buying, although Wenger has already stated he needs to sell before he buys, in order to trim an already bloated squad.
The report claims that while Arsenal have expressed an interest, they are yet to make a bid, although that situation could change in the coming days.
