Arsenal have approached Thomas Tuchel and made the Borussia Dortmund boss an offer to replace Arsene Wenger as manager, according to Bild.
Wenger has come under huge pressure after an awful run of results that have seen the club drop to sixth place in the table and in real danger of missing out on a top-four finish.
Saturday’s defeat to West Brom was Arsenal’s fourth in their last five Premier League games with supporters becoming increasingly frustrated and making their opinions heard.
Protests against Wenger have taken place before the club’s last few matches while a plane carring the sign ”No Contract #Wenger Out” was flown over the Hawthorns at the weekend.
Wenger insisted after the game that he has already decided his future and will make an announcement on whether he plans to continue after this season soon.
The latest reports have suggested he will sign a new one-year deal but Bild’s report claims that may not be the case and that Tuchel could be on his way to the Emirates instead.

The Dortmund boss has long been linked with joining the Gunners although he had appeared to fall behind Massimiliano Allegri who had seemed to be the favourite to take charge should Wenger step down.
Tuchel replaced Jurgen Klopp as Dortmund boss in 2015 and took the team to a second-placed finish behind Bayern Munich in his first season in charge.
The club are currently third in the table, behind surprise package RB Leipzig, but are through to the quarter-finals of the Champions League where they will face Monaco.
Tuchel’s side have been widely praised for their attractive, attacking football, making him a strong contender for the Arsenal job, although it still remains to be seen if Wenger will step down.
The Frenchman has promised a decision soon and one is definitely needed so the club can attempt to move on from an awful run and plan for the future.
