Arsenal and Manchester City are reportedly considering a swap deal that would see Alexis Sanchez head to the Etihad this summer, with Sergio Aguero moving the other way.
According to the Daily Star, talks have already been held about the two prolific forwards switching clubs this summer.
Pep Guardiola’s remains determined to land Sanchez, although Arsenal clearly do not want to sell their top scorer, and particularly not to a rival.
However, the Chilean is yet to extend his contract, and the Gunners face losing him for free next summer, if he does not agree a new deal.
Aguero, meanwhile, lost his place in the team last season following the arrival of Gabriel Jesus, meaning his future has also come under scrutiny.
The Argentine still managed to finish the season with 20 Premier League goals and has recently claimed he wants to see out his City contract and has no intention of leaving.

However, he may find himself on the bench again next season, if Jesus continues to show the exciting form he displayed last season, and a swap deal could just suit both teams.
The report claims Paris Saint-Germain have expressed an interest in Aguero, but that he would prefer to remain in the Premier League.
Arsenal, meanwhile, are believed to be close to a deal for Alexandre Lacazette, although Lyon have warned the Gunners he will cost somewhere in the region of £57m.
