Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey is expecting the club to make a couple of additions this summer as we look to continue our recent trend of adding top quality players, Bleacher Report exclusively reports.
Ramsey was speaking at the launch of the latest New Balance football boots range and after reflecting on what turned out to be a frustrating campaign for the Welshman, he touched on our recent transfer activity.
The arrivals of top-class players such as Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez have been well received by our midfield star, and Ramsey is expecting more movement in this close season.

“It’s nice to have that sort of quality coming into the squad,” Ramsey told Bleacher Report.
“I think the club is in a position now where we can buy these sorts of players, and also keep our players as well.

“I am sure, like any season, there will be a couple more additions this summer.”
As Ramsey alludes to, our financial potential as a football club has clearly elevated over the past few years. With the focus fixated on managing the debt following our stadium move in 2006, our best players departed.
However, the recent arrivals of Alexis and Ozil, coupled with the fact that our senior stars are currently on long-term contracts, there seems to be an acceptance that we’re a club heading in the right direction.
Ramsey could soon be welcoming another marquee player into the dressing room as our deal to sign Petr Cech from Chelsea nears completion (via Sky Sports).
