Arsenal are more popular in west London than Chelsea in a new study compiled by Sky Sports, determining the areas in the UK from which each team is watched, the Mirror reports.

We were only second to Manchester United in terms of popularity throughout the nation, but our dominance in west London is the alarming result.
As expected, we’ve locked down the north London territory while we also came out on top in north-west London and south-east London. This, despite the presence of other Premier League clubs such as Tottenham Hotspur and Crystal Palace, shows that we’re certainly London’s biggest club.
Despite Chelsea’s recent success, our history and brand is certified worldwide with fans across the nation clearly familiar with our style of play.
Considering that this report only takes into account which teams are the most watched, the data collected may not necessarily consist of fans of each Premier League club.

Therefore, our entertainment value, which has become synonymous with our football club ever since the arrival of Arsene Wenger, will always give us the edge in any popularity contest.
