Arsenal’s number three/four goalkeeper Vito Mannone has become a forgotten player at the Emirates this season making no appearances for the club since pre-season.
His lack of playing time due to his Polish rivals Wojciech Szczesny and Lukasz Fabianski is understood to have frustrated the Italian who has given Wenger an ultimatum being to either play him or sell him.
The reserve keeper, 23, said:
The ideal situation would be to let me go on loan and then make it permanent.
If I were to be totally honest, I agree with the young Italian. With Fabianski itching for match time, the possibility for Mannone to get in on some playing time look slim to none. But then again it only takes a couple of injuries to get your big opportunity, just like what happened with our new number one Szczesny. What do you guys think? Let him go or keep him?
