Arsenal starlet Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is on course to be included in the England’s squad for Euro 2012 after impressing Fabio Capello in his first full Premier League debut against Manchester United last weekend.
The youngster was undoubtedly the best attacking player Arsenal had on the pitch while Capello watched from the stands in the Emirates.
The Italian now hopes that the Ox will get more first-team opportunities as it is his lack of first-team game time that has prevented Capello from calling the youngster up into the full squad.
It looks as though Chamberlain will have a chance to further impress in the upcoming friendlies England have before the tournament, the first being a clash with Holland on the 29th of February.
Capello said on Chamberlain in November:
I have been impressed with him. He is a good player, who has a lot of quality and is playing at a really high level.
He will be a really interesting player for the next friendly games before the Euros.
