The Tunisia international, 22, has begun to establish himself at Toulouse after having a successful loan spell at German club Werder Bremen last season.
Abdennour said on the situation:
It’s [Arsenal’s interest] true, I’ve heard a lot of talk while I’ve been at Toulouse.
They come to watch and scout players. They came to see our last three matches in which I put forward excellent performances for my side.
My agent, Mr Abdelkader, he’s the one focused on these things. He’s a professional and he always tells me to work hard and whatever is good for me, God will help it through. I need to work and stay focused with my side.
We’re going through a good period a Toulouse, God willing, we’ll continue on this path and then hopefully the two sides can come to an agreement. I’m not going to get involved.

“If there’s something good for the player and for Toulouse in me being transferred to a big club like Arsenal then why not? Right now I’m still happy at my club. I want to improve at Toulouse.
With the ability to play at both left-back and and in the centre of defence he could become a good versatile player for the gunners. But to be fair it is at right-back where we are stretched thin. What do you guys think? Would you welcome him to Arsenal?
